Enjoyer of film, tv and comics. Rather partial to the odd videogame too.
@taskmaster.tv - if we do ever get a Champion of Champion of Champions, please could we have it over a few episodes instead of just a one off?

Belting Taskmaster Champion of Champions that. Bloody loved it.

Really enjoyed Film Club on bbc iPlayer. Aimee Lou Wood was as great as ever, but Suranne Jones was brilliant. Stole every scene she was in. Never knew she was that good at comedy!

If you’re in Bath and in need of a tasty lunch then I cannot recommend Brac - down by the river at Nelson Villas - enough. Their porchetta focaccia is honestly one of the best things I’ve eaten all year. Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to go in there.

If La Voix doesn’t end up getting the #strictly gig (which it really feels she should) then bbc really should offer her something else. A proper star.
November 15, 2025 at 8:01 PM
Yeah ditch that tired Bradley Walsh idea bbc and let’s have Alex Jones and La Voix for the next series #strictly
November 8, 2025 at 7:17 PM
Oh Christ, not Bradley Walsh for Strictly #bbc. That’s so damn lazy. Alex Jones is not a bad shout at all, but Walsh is massively overused. #strictly

Gotta feel sorry for poor Nadia on #Strictly. She always seems to get lumbered with people who are never going to be able to properly compete, and so always gets knocked out early. She must be sick to death of the cha cha and salsa by now. Give her someone good next year!

Just played through Cocoon - what a terrific puzzler. Has a great game mechanic which it utilises in loads of really inventive ways. Highly recommended if you haven’t already nabbed it off of PSPlus this month.

Well EA can get all the way to fuck now. As if their reputation wasn’t bad enough they’re now owned by Jared Kushner. Christ alive. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Fucking hell Uxbridge. Got enough flags up? You look like the BNP has thrown up all over you. Sort yourself out for Christ’s sake. Thought Sussex and Kent were bad!

Wow Cadbury’s Time Out bars are shit now huh?

Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace honestly has one of the best opening title sequences of all time. That theme tune is an absolute banger.

Clair Obscur is done - just got the platinum. A very good game indeed. Now jumping into Nobody Wants to Die.

My prediction is that in that scenario, he blames the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which puts out employment data. Calls them corrupt, run by Democrats, out to get him. Fires people there, insists their numbers cannot be trusted, White House puts out its own fictitious data to make Trump look good

Vey much enjoying Clair Obscur. Some properly belting turn-based combat. The storyline and voice acting are pretty damn great too. The platforming bits though 😬.

There are so many fast food outlets focusing on tenders and wings - Wingstop, Slim Chickens etc - where the hell are all the unused thighs going? They’re the best bit! Is there a separate fast food chain out there just churning out fried chicken thighs? If so can someone direct me to it?

Hate the premise of the new Marvel Snap season. Whole point of variant cards was to represent different versions of those characters. Now we inexplicably have a completely different set of cards for existing characters who presumably will have their own variant art. All just for a shameless tie-in.

Ironheart is pretty decent! Not sure why Marvel took so long to release it, but it’s for sure one of their most consistent, coherent and interesting shows - albeit a wee bit slow to get going. Has some good performances (Dominique Thorne in particular v.good). Cliffhanger has left me wanting more.

This series of Taskmaster has been a belter. I mean even the least good series is better than 95% of other telly, but I think this one is up there with some of the best.

Roman Kemp “I never thought I’d say Kendal Mint Cake on this show”. Come on mate, have you ever seen The One Show before? If ever there’s place on tv where Kendal Mint Cake is going to be mentioned, it’s there.

Propose a tweak to Bargain Hunt - stop asking every contestant both their fave item and which will make the most money, often duplicating answers. Instead ask them their fave, then ask their expert which will make the most. Then we get to see the expert’s justification for some of the purchases.

@marvelsnap.bsky.social - any chance you could put more variants for sale in the Daily Offer? Got gold to spend but often there’s nothing in the 8 I fancy, and I’m frequently seeing the same ones over and over.

Late to the party but really enjoying Somerville by Jumpship. Whilst I can be occasionally unclear where to go next, or why you can’t interact with something, it’s an absolute masterclass in evoking mood and tension. The art style is a huge part of this, but particular shout out to the sound design.
