In MA there are basically 3 levels from lowest to highest compensation: vendors owning contracts for court ordered evals < public defender retained (100% increase) < DA/privately retained (30-50% increase).

I have had at least four people I know walk by me without recognizing me. Presumably because I’ve been in a bathing suit since I got here! 🤣

Meaghann and I will both be there! Haven’t really moved into this space yet so unsure if my haiku game will be on point. I may need to spend half the conference by the pool figuring it out. ☀️
