Here's our story on today's events:
I was talking about European heads of state and wealthy individuals and corporations invading lands on other continents, calling the citizens of those lands "savages" and then proceeding to systematically destroy those cultures through subjugation, genocide, disease introduction, enslavement, etc.

I was talking about European heads of state and wealthy individuals and corporations invading lands on other continents, calling the citizens of those lands "savages" and then proceeding to systematically destroy those cultures through subjugation, genocide, disease introduction, enslavement, etc.
But the history of Europeans going to other countries and bringing their violence, disease, and religious, ethnic, and racial hatred along with them, and all but destroying those nations and cultures kind of bears this out.
