No. 3 Creighton topped Northern Iowa 3-1 to move onto the second week of the tourney.

Martin put up 16 kills and 14 digs. The Jays won the blocking battle 13-5.

Hartman had 21 kills for the Panthers. UNI missed 14 serves.

Ava Martin puts up 30 kills as No. 3 Creighton rallies to to claim the last two sets over Northern Colorado, including 15-7 in the fifth.

The Bluejays hit .311 for the match, highlighted by a 14-0-27 line in the fifth. Maeder had 53 assists and 21 digs. Reinhard with 10K, 9B.

With the 8th and final pick of the first round, the Omaha Supernovas selected Kiara Reinhardt from Creighton.

The 6-foot-3 middle blocker is hitting .435 with 2.51 kills and 0.98 blocks per set this season. Reinhardt is a 2x All-Big East honoree.

Omaha does select a middle blocker, but its not Allick, its Kiara Reinhardt out of Creighton. Its a short walk from the Creighton gym to the CHI Health Center Arena.

Creighton outside hitter Ava Martin is the second overall pick by the Atlanta Vibe in the MLV Draft.

Martin is averaging 4.43 kills per set with a 0.328 hitting percentage. She was an All-American last year and the Big East Player of the Year this season.

Sis and Martin finish with 15 kills while Wait tallies 47 assists, 17 digs and 5 kills. CU hits .307.

Skinner finished with 23 kills.
