I won't watch news anymore. I'm not a big fan of Rogan but I'll credit him. Listened to one of his podcasts featuring a woman who worked for MSNBC and a man who worked for Fox. They explained how they were muzzled, couldn't share info beyond certain talking points so they left. I recognized it all.

I was a preteen. Difference is we all watched the same TV news. Every night Vietnam and its horrors came into the living room. Violent protesters had some sympathy because no one wanted to be drafted. Old guys were sending kids to die. Law enforcement were the "pigs" who arrested protestors.

Ahhhh, maybe I get it now. What if the point is to scare us all into staying home for the midterms? They're hiring more and more agents. ICE could be used to "protect" elections by checking for citizenship and rounding up those they decide are guilty of fraud. Voter suppression at its finest .

From their POV, not unreasonable. Decrease abortions not by making them illegal, but by defunding them. Back to so many 70's teen movie plots. Wonder if this will be where the compromise lands?

Ummm, any other law enforcement agency has to operate in the light. ICE should also. Otherwise, observers have every right to intervene. Anyone could throw on a mask, drive an unmarked van, and abduct people from the streets. It's scary to think about what could happen.
