Claw Machines. I see these at every arcade I’ve ever been to but don’t think I’ve ever seen one used in a video game setting

Dying Light. A fantastic first person parkour adventure (with zombies). I never actually beat this, but would love to go back to it one day. Especially cause The Beast looks super fun!

Clair Obscure: Expedition 33. I had no idea going into this game what exactly the story would be. I definitely did not expect to be shedding literal tears within the opening hour. If you haven’t played this yet, you’re doing yourself a disservice! GOTY

Cuphead. I’ve never actually thrown any controllers but there are a couple bosses in Cuphead that made me come close!

The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past. I adore this game, definitely my favorite of the top down Zelda games. I appreciate that you can get through it and beat it without all the secrets. I would love to go back through one day with a guide to see it all

Super Mario Odyssey. This game is so freaking charming and creative! It feels absolutely incredible to control and looks great and is never overbearing. You can basically do as much or as little as you want. And it’s just FUN from start to finish

FF7! Honestly, any FF game would fit here, but 7 hits extra hard. Nothing gets me quit as hype as the opening bombing mission music. Boss battle theme, gold saucer, so good. And the music during the boss at the end of disc 1 gets me every time
