I hope it’s the worst attended World Cup in history. They clearly don’t want tourists when they plan on checking 5 years social media history. Hope it costs them a fortune and they don’t make it all back. TRUMP’s a kleptocrat.

Thanks for your advice on isa’s and show on investing. I’m reluctant to invest in stocks and shares especially as people keep saying the AI bubble is about to burst. Would that affect and stocks isa or funds?

He won the Democratic vote in the USA so a majority of Americans and States through the electoral college voted for him. Of course it’s horrible that we are all subject to his chaos, even for me living in the UK. I can definitely say he’s not my president.

The only reason black and brown people tended to live in certain areas of Birmingham was due to vocal opposition from white people to them living in other areas. Plus people want to live where they feel safe from racist attacks. Yes the Tories are canvassing the racist vote.

Fascism is any ideology that divides people into superhuman and subhuman who can then be denied rights, liberty and life. Reform and others are the modern equivalent of fascists in the 1930s. I agree with Heseltine

This is a great book. I knew nothing about Deluz, hard to find out an easily understandable book on him. But Adams often brings in philosophy to his Sci fi.

I agree Trump’s tariffs would hurt ordinary people in US and Europe. But are retaliatory tariffs a good idea? That is then taxing our own people back. I guess it’s symbolic retaliation. Remember Trump always chickens out

The BBC today reporting on Anti Semitism ‘normalised in British Middle class society’. Danny Stone chief exe of the Anti semitism trust, cited the chant as anti semitic. It’s not. The IDF don’t represent all Jews, do they? It IS anti semitic to talk about ‘Jewish influence in the music business’ ok.
