One day after SNO+ confirms KamLAND's decade old result on Dmsq21, JUNO goes slightly past it with just 2 months of data. They also confirmed solar neutrino measurement's of theta12. With properly structured code this can leads to orders of magnitude of speed up, on top of the 1-2 orders of magnitude from the physics and linear algebra advances
The paper has all kinds of benchmarking for speed and so on
The code has a lot of features, but can also be run fairly simply too

They are chopping down forests near me in NY to build AI data centers. I can't even imagine what they're doing elsewhere in the world.
