There was a time when maybe this could have been considered a "comfort watch". People can be smart and pull their heads out of their asses.

Criticism of Reagan is certainly justified. But he's dead now, and as little as I liked the guy, he made good quotes we can use.
There are very few (if any) past Presidents that are not problematic. Washington and Jefferson were both slaveowners.

Seriously, I can understand this. We were there on a "quiet" day and the crowds were overwhelming. A pickpocket's dream, even with increased security.
That security is there primarily for the benefit of the visitors, so asking that they pitch in a bit to help pay for it is reasonable.
