Oh it feels nice when my kids call me Dada, I like it. I don't feel uncomfortable with the title at all, I just like hearing them call me by my name.

My meta sense of why people find these articles compelling: most people look to articles as ammunition in a fight, not an argument to learn from. The value is in aligning with priors rather than being right.

Obviously not the most *rigorous* analysis, but it's what I got.

It's great for those kinds of domains, where the answer is verifiable and requires synthesis. It's transformative for programming.

I default to it for programming-related searches. If it's nothing too esoteric, it usually correctly finds and synthesizes the information I need, it's a lot easier and faster than researching
by myself. And correctness is easy to validate (unlike "What's the population of Moscow?").

I did a half marathon this morning. Started downtown, went all over, we even jogged by the ICE building. There's fuck all happening here.
