I wonder what is going to happen when other countries start reciprocating against Americans? It WILL happen eventually. Being American abroad used to be a badge of honor. Now, there are places now where it isn't necessarily safe to proclaim to be an American.

I guess it's hard to tell journalists to ignore unreasonable demands, when the military isn't even following their own policies which say they are obliged to ignore illegal orders. Who is going to stand up for what is right. No pun intended. Where are Superman and Superwomen when we need them?

Here's a devil's advocate thought. Could it be that the media bosses are simply giving us what we want? It's about profit, isn't it? Until we quit watching, it's unlikely to change. How do we get the populace to demand journalism instead of entertainment. If you want entertainment. See a movie.

The only reason most supported the Dear Leader is expediency. Most businesses in pre-WII Germany didn't support Nazis because thet believed in it.

Perhaps we are misinterpreting terminology of reporter, journalists and entertainer / facilitator. If someone is allowing politicians to lie unchecked, they are in the latter category.

It is EVERYONE's responsibility to speak out, but journalists are best placed face to face with the perpetrators, in front of cameras and witnesses.

I'm not rich. I'm not a label, and I clearly don't speak for anyone else. I don't categorize anyone because of political or any other categories. It's that temptation to paint all people in a group as identical, is, in part why we are in the mess we are right now.

The struggle for all of us is where to draw the line. What I see as non-negotiable, you may tolerate, and vice versa. But I agree that if that a journalist allows such blatant lies to go unchallenged, (s)he needs a different career. Organizations, however don't get to choose to have integrity or not

The sadder question is why people from those places would ever want to go to a place with an inhuman government, law enforcement run by entertainers and thugs, courts run by a dictator, and a public that can't or won't put a stop to it. Oh and kidnappers roaming the streets in gangs, with badges.

Truth will always triumph, EVENTUALLY. The question is whether time remains to let it come eventually. How much damage has already been done and how much worse will it get before it prevails?

Why is mainstream media not using these tactics? Since the other two branches of government have sold out their responsibility, it is the media's responsibility to pull out all stops and show the teeth of real journalists.

I plead guilty to not only hating. But despising pretend Christians. To be a Christian. Means you follow the example of Christ. READ THE BIBLE or quit calling yourself a Christian. It's almost as bad as trump pretending to be human. Forget intelligent, or sane.

What is even the point of torturing people they've kidnapped? The only possible explanation is that the perpetrators are sadistic, inhumane, low life that do not deserve to walk free. If we as a public do not do something to end it. We are guilty of these atrocities.
