20 acres is not a lot of land

For example, when grazing “poor quality pasture” ie a desert. A 1000lb cow will need 8 or so acres.

Cows are herd animals so it’s recommended you have at least 2-3.

Quicks maths says they don’t even have enough land for the livestock much less people, crops, etc.

It’s the perfect excuse, and no one argues with it because they’re sleepy too lol
