Unfortunately that’s where the Michael Dell of it all comes in. He’s an Austin guy and Austin already has the corporate money. I have a master’s in sports ad from OU. I wonder if there’s a corollary if Cleveland never redeveloped after industry dried up in the 70s?

SA is a city of poverty bc we have few good paying jobs bc there is no educated workforce.We don’t have the treats that cities have-arts,entertainment & sports-so educated young people don’t want to live here. It’s beautiful & authentic but we need more city stuff to evolve.Spurs leaving would suck

So good, Mike. I’m in SA real estate so I’ve been arguing the need for redevelopment downtown and on the east side to my colleagues but really I wanted to scream “We can’t lose Wemby because not only is he likely to be the best player in the NBA but he will be a global icon like Tim never was”

Cmon now the Spurs putting up way more than most teams and this is a vitally necessary redevelopment play for downtown and the east side. It’s going to be really cool. If this development didn’t happen and/or if the Spurs left town then SA is El Paso without the mountains

I was expecting to dislike him but on the day Kirk was shot I went to a fundraiser with Ken as the guest. He was close with Hortman so he was emotional. I ended up being encouraged. More of a fighter than I expected. Wants government shut down. He was far more real than other politicos I’ve met

I live about 15 min from San Antonio International. I usually leave my home an hour before my flight and breeze through security and still have to wait before boarding begins. They have good margaritas too

It’s the weekend. They all work with a skeleton crew. I live near the Tx floods and I knew the stories I was hearing were major but the networks and news orgs took their sweet time because they aren’t serious about weekend coverage anymore

Kurt, maybe this will hold but any real Mavs fan will tell you we were bombarded with similar stories & pics over the last several summers. My friend and I were curious how he managed to blow up during the season

Literally grappling with this as my daughter just had a transformative, positive experience in her first yr at Barnard. Loves her classes, friends and NYC. Came home much more confident. But, I hate my money going there.

I like LA. Dallas and Austin are LA. I can see Houston as NY but probably has more New Orleans elements with bayous, food and port. SA is very different. I need to know why you think SA is an LA city.
