This week working on a stretch goal background for The Wine Dark Sea TTRPG.

The Magistrate (wip name) is someone who hunts down escaped consciousnesses be they from digital hells, cognitive confinement stations, to intelligences that jump from body to body (organic or otherwise).

Slap chopping my rhino and I am happy with the Nurgle like results since it will match the armor of my already painted dudes. I have not invested in an airbrush but am thinking about it

toying with the idea of a new background where the character is someone who hunts down escaped consciousnesses be they from digital hells, cognitive confinement stations, to intelligences that jump from body to body (organic or otherwise)

The name could be either The Warden or The Pursuer

Second part of basing where you cover the sand you put on with watered down PVA glue. Next is painting the edge of the base….still toying with goblin green

Updated the background, “The Changed” to “The Occultist” to reflect the vibe of the background and to give the player some cues. Also it lets me add this to their equipment

This batch of Nurgle dudes is almost done, just need to base. Want to try a mix of shiny and matte on my converted Daemon Prince. This is the bulk of my army

Best line of the Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign so far. Said while planning on going after the pirate vessel. “So we just put a magic shield around the book and light the ship on fire”

Rewording the Scion’s boon Willing Retainers to be that they summon the shades of long dead retainers that they sacrifice for better dice rolls. The current is that they summon living ones which is a bit much narratively

Thanks, the starter rules need to be updated to the layout since right now it is just a plain pdf without the layout or art

Working on predefined Dooms for GMs to use in my game The Wine Dark Sea. Having a fun time, Dooms created so far are

Treasured Keepsake: Think Gollum

Bearer of Vermin: A swarm chooses you as vessel

Unnatural Hunger: You hunger for something unnatural like blood or spinal fluid

Playing through the Ghosts of Saltmarsh, first adventure and one of the players bribed the hobgoblins in the caves to just leave. It was a cool moment.
