Those FTT tokens weren’t worth $100 either

That’s nonsense. It has always been legalize, regulate, tax, lessen stigma/provide support.

You get more users but you lessen the most harmful effects.

The best way to tackle these activities is harm minimization.

I don’t think it would cause too many problems. If you look at the announcements of companies using Blockchain tech no one really pays it much attention. Like this for example:

www.avax.network/about/blog/c...
Avax.network — California DMV Makes History, Digitizes 42 Million Car Titles on Avalanche Blockchain
One of the first initiatives under Governor Newsom’s blockchain executive order highlights the benefits of web3 technology for Americans

That’s not true. A lot of their support was around cryptocurrency & low taxes.

Zero Knowledge proofs could actually work in this situation though. You just prove you are over 18 once then present a token when you need to prove you are over 18. No need to give the site a selfie.

That’s too much nudging. People just want to drive where they have to go & be left alone.

70,000 people just died in Iran. Millions die each year from preventable diseases. What else should we infringe in to people’s lives over?

Money transmission. Tokenisation. Art. Store of Value.

It’s not safe

Have you tried riding the metro in Los Angeles?
February 6, 2026 at 11:55 AM
Cars are an essential freedom for modern life
February 6, 2026 at 11:55 AM
This is such a stupid idea. You’ll leave us paying $50 for Waymo rides to cross the city.

Not to mention the surveillance aspect of being recorded all the time in the waymo.

People need to be more aware of their surroundings.

“Intelligence density per unit of memory” sounds like something he made up on the spot

Why hate on it?

You just look jealous that you didn’t buy it when it’s price rose
February 5, 2026 at 10:56 PM
It trades 24/7 though so there is no bell
February 5, 2026 at 8:31 PM
Which asset are you talking about?
February 5, 2026 at 8:23 PM
What would give you more enjoyment. Saylor getting liquidated or Binance falling over?
February 5, 2026 at 8:00 PM
So he thinks it’s worth $1000
February 5, 2026 at 5:06 PM
Very minor industrial utility compared to the price it trades though. That’s why it worked as a currency.

Bitcoin lets you pay fees to transfer it or store data on the Blockchain.

If you count Store of Value as a utility then both Gold & Bitcoin have that feature.

It reminds me of Draymond to Paul Pierce: They don’t love you like that
February 5, 2026 at 6:39 AM
I don’t agree anymore than fiat currency accelerated Gold’s march to zero (it didn’t).
February 5, 2026 at 6:21 AM
It won’t reach $1. Keep dreaming.

What has changed that would cause it to be over?

I think they are going to try and pump the market before the midterms.
