Had one patient with chest pain but cxr ekg negative I saw her 2 hours later she was sound asleep. then I hypothetically slept for 6 hours. No phone calls no epic messages

I am choosing to continue to support Jonathan in this endeavor. An preliminary surgery interns salary makes it very hard to put forth enough applications to make sure he has an excellent chance of matching to a full categorical program (yes, one has to reapply/PAY to apply to be a resident doctor).

How do I prevent 3am calls about medications that are ordered already? I got a call about Xanax but the order was already in for 7 hours… and when I brought that to the nurses attention: oops sorry. This has occurred at least 5 times
