Not sure whether this applies now, but there was an English lit and English lang A level. I’m assuming they don’t have to recite the works of Jane Austen……. The language A level was difficult and really not that relevant to most people.

They seem to not realise that the ECHR protects us all. It doesn’t matter about your skin colour, religion etc, beliefs.

I too have left. It feels a bit odd and I do miss some aspects, but the bits I liked did not outweigh the bits I didn’t.

I’m amazed that these people don’t take advice from their agent/PR people. Say absolutely nothing, or issue a statement via your agent. Whatever you do, don’t shoot your mouth off. Especially if that is what has thrown you into the hole in the first place.

Money is at the root of this. They must be paying him well. However, the US and UK approach religion in vastly different ways, so not sure how this will land. I suspect he is eyeing an attempt to raise his profile in US (as well as improving his bank balance).

Completely agree. If palliative care is improved, then people will have a real choice. I’m in favour of the Bill, but appreciate that there are many who are not. I witnessed the long death of my mum. That experience shaped my stance.

Reading about a couple of his ideas. Reducing hormones in meat and harmful additives/colourants in foods etc seems a good idea. The rest is bat***.
