I yap about (& work towards) #DCStatehood a lot. Annoyingly so, I know. But these last few years, especially the last month, demonstrate that we’re nothing more than an American colony under Home Rule. Nothing less than full statehood should be acceptable. We can’t count on anyone but ourselves.
