Recent Twitter refugee. Old school progressive. If you're MAGA and like what I had to say, you probably misunderstood it.
For the people? You sure about that? The PPACA was essentially a giveaway to health insurance companies that still left millions of people uninsured. He couldn't be bothered to codify Roe v Wade into law, and the gap between the rich and working classes continued to widen unabated.

You're joking, right? Obama was a corporate stooge too. No candidate was able to win nomination without the leadership's okay thanks to the use of "super delegates" with more voting power than the actual voters.

The corruption of the Dem leadership was part of the fall out of 8 years of Ronald Reagan, and then it was firmly cemented into place with Bill Clinton getting elected. It was all downhill from there.
December 20, 2025 at 9:48 PM
It's been that way since the 1990s. It just became more obvious in 2016.
December 20, 2025 at 3:00 PM
We already know what "went wrong." The party leadership is more interested in preventing progressives from winning the nomination than they are about winning elections. They care more about appeasing corporate donors than about the well-being of the electorate.

Trump and any of his allies/associates.

As far as I'm concerned, half of the blame belongs to GOP voters. The other half to Harris. Her piss poor, tone deaf campaign turned off a lot of the voters she needed to win over, while Trump courted who he needed. It's the same critique I have for Hillary. The Dems don't seem to want to win.

Trump's cronies in the "Justice" Dept just might accidentally tuck her covers in a little too tight.
December 19, 2025 at 11:52 PM
It's pointless to redact her from the files considering everyone knows she was involved.
December 19, 2025 at 10:04 PM
All notions of what is or isn't legal was thrown out the window the moment Trump was sworn into office. And seeing as how the Dem leadership is spinless against Republicans, there will likely be no real consequences.

She can get a pardon if the judge rejects her bid to overturn her conviction. She could also get the same 4 star treatment Epstein received while housed in a jail controlled by Trump's "Justice" Dept. One has to wonder how many minutes will end up missing on that surveillance tape.

And some that don't have been trying to legalize it just a few years ago.

Nineteen Eighty-Four was supposed to be a warning, not a how-to guide. 🤦‍♂️
December 19, 2025 at 3:53 PM
Call me too jaded in my middle age, but I don't believe anyone but the bottom rung of people will face anything that remotely looks like a consequence. The Dem leadership is too spineless to make that happen.

It's my country and my business, and I'm more than a little tired of the senile narcissistic SoB's antics.
December 18, 2025 at 12:57 AM
We could if we ran someone who wasn't a pro-corporate tosser with a penchant for running tone-deaf campaigns that cater to special interest groups with deep pockets. 🙄

Donnie has very little authority at the state level, no matter how much he desperately wants people to believe otherwise.

Ironically, he's now relying on all the right wingers who hated EVs until he did his little Nazi salute. I've seen a bunch of new Teslas in my town since then. Pretty telling seeing as how a smart person can get a used EV for a substantial discount.

Specifically, a surgeon specializing in cancer and the gastrointestinal tract. I mean who could possibly be a bigger expert in HIV than that???

If you want me to get more excited about Makary, fly in Cher to give him his much needed "Moonstruck moment." I'm sure a GoFundMe campaign would raise more than enough money for Cher's airfare and accommodations. I know I'd chip in a few bucks.

Alt: A scene from the 1987 movie Moonstruck in which Cher slaps Nicolas Cage and exclaims "Snap out of it!"

Melania would be ecstatic about that. She could finally get her divorce settlement and move on with her life. Problem is that Rep Omar is 43, making her about 29 years too old for Trump's liking.

They don't matter seeing as how most of them are cult-like in their blind devotion to a senile old narcissistic bastard

And with the outright murder of those people on the boat Trump ordered strikes on and the illegal seizure of the Venezuelan oil tanker, he's also a war criminal.
December 17, 2025 at 11:58 PM
As it was early on in Trump's first term. But that was before the job numbers turned sour, his campaign promises of making things more affordable turned into "affordability is a con," his poll numbers tanked, Epstien photos started getting leaked, and MAGA politicians started turning on him.

Not sure if you mean you have an aversion to becoming overweight or to being around overweight people. Either way, your first step is to talk to a psychologist.
