Thanks so much sending this link amidst all the replies decrying AI. I did very much appreciate what David Byrne said in the interview. I guess he and I share more than a first name. I too like libraries and would like nothing better than to see a plan hatched to bring our city a new library come to life in our city. I think you are mistaken in suggesting that an interview with David Byrne about libraries is somehow inconsistent with my thought exercise about his song "Don't Worry About The Government." The analysis I took on was just about, wait for it, the government! It had nothing to do with merits of a new library building. And to your general derision about AI generated material, I get it, AI has a bad name there are many instances of it mischaracterizing things with malice intention. However, I hope you will give me credit. I am a scholar, and before AI, I did some of my research in libraries and then in digital databases, and then the internet which became host to that scholarship. And despite the bad actors who misuse AI, I would disagree with your wholesale devaluing of it's use and would even invite you to see for yourself, since you are apparently a thoughtful, and informed, and opinionated individual. You might find it a useful tool to better convey the views you hope us all to embrace.
