8 is great for being totally different to 7. Not sure what it was about 9 but I agree it’s a bit dull and too quirky for my taste!

I just love FF7 the most it was the first I played as a kid. Loved the Materia and Equipment UI. I played 7 to 10 and find 9 the hardest to replay!
