We need to look at these Tesla numbers (accidents, deaths) in comparison to other cars. Is the proportion of self-driving cars in fatal accidents higher or lower compared to that of say a standard Ford Bronco? Yes to strict regulations to protect the public. But let our side be the rational one.
Good thing this mandated reporting is going to disappear.

Tesla has reported over 1,500 accidents to federal safety regulators. There are 614 deaths related to Tesla vehicles, with 51 of these associated with Autopilot, including 2 with FSD engaged.

Something I like about the Emma character in J Austin's novel by the same name, is that she sometimes has kind, generous intentions, but sometimes she's selfish and jealous of others. In other words, she's a regular person. I think books should have more of 'em.

Reading Emma, by Jane Austin. Enjoying it a lot. Not sure if I've read it before. I know I'm having flashbacks to Clueless, the movie based on Emma.

Either way, it's a fun read. And being annoyed by the Emma character's intrusiveness in others' lives is part of the fun.

Before 2011, I never imagined a day would come when a foreigner would question my identity as a Syrian. Yet, western pro-Assad pundits showed it was possible. Now, with Assad gone, the global jihad crowd are trolling me with slurs while claiming they are more entitled to the country than I am.

10 things everyone should know about the brain:

#1. The things you see and hear depend largely on the activity of neurons in the brain's outer shell -- the cerebral cortex. For instance, you can distinguish the appearance of one restaurant from another because they activate different sets

Bit of a reverse Black Friday tip. Go buy a book from an independent bookshop. While the richest companies in the world have another bonanza, put a smile on the face of a struggling writer and bookseller. Thank you x

A friend asked people "So what do you think of Dostoyevsky?". He wasn't really interested in your view. He wanted a chance to tell you his. One day,he admitted to me that he brings up the topic this way.

I think I've seen other instances of this.

Is it common to ask a question for this reason?
