#Haze is common in this region, especially in winter when temperature inversions can keep hashtag#aerosols trapped close to ground level.

Visualizing with "only" our eyes, a typical pollution day looks like this, with #Sentinel3 #OLCI (RGB picture from @esa.int #Worldview) on 12.01.2025.

Such a thick pollution obscures parts of East & South #China, the Yellow Sea, South Korea, & coastal Sea of Japan (East Sea). It is full of #aerosols (small airborne particles) from many sources, including #desert #dust, industrial #pollutants, agricultural #fires, automobile exhaust, and more.

I can't accept the idea that my communication works pay dangerous people jeopardizing our societies.

Freedom of opinion, yes. Freedom of misinformation, interference, & illegal offense, no.

I hope to revive the excitement feeling there ☺️! I stay of course on Linkedin as well ;-).

It was very fruitful to update each in a concise way about our latest works and progress, share #science news & tools.

But, very sadly the Twitter / X platform has clearly become unsuitable for such a purpose.
