Grandmother, and published children’s author of historical fiction. Love traveling, horses, singing chickens, fearless rabbits, and all people good and kind.
Never thought history would repeat itself when I started writing this story. See how Koko survives confinement. Thanks for your support.

Compassionate Witness. Estelle Ishigo. A white woman against racism.

I didn't know what to call my ambition to write about injustice. It follows me like soul-stuff, genuine and ignited.

This weekend, I'll be stamping the sacred Ireicho Book at the Amache Pilgrimage--for Estelle.

Anyone headed to the beach?
A shout out to Eileen Meyer and Manica Musil for their mid-April release of their new book by Reycraft Books. The rhyming is fun, the side notes are informative, and the illustrations beg to be touched.

When Blue Sky first opened to members it required me to be invited, and then I was, but I see it’s worked out its kinks since then. One of my favorite writer/teacher/agent persons (Joyce Sweeney) is here somewhere. And Hi Teddie!

We’re travel today to Roanoke where our kids are thinking of moving.
