Anti-Trump Texan. Posts are sporadic. Filter is non-existent. Mood is perpetually annoyed.

I like anime, books, video games, movies, and music. I love all sorts of animals.

I won't answer if you DM me, but I might follow back.
Live your life in a manner that decent human beings aren't eagerly checking obituary pages hoping you show up in them.

Goonies is a disturbing film because it's established that it was the kids who were the Goonies. We never even learn who the Gooners were.

Things that live rent-free in my head: At my old job, one of the songs on the store radio was "Hit the Road, Jack," by Ray Charles. However, the audio channel that had the ladies singing "Hit the road, Jack..." was muted. This resulted in silence, followed by Ray shouting "What you say?!?!?!"

I decided to put every movie I own onto one shelf. Didn't matter if it was Blu-ray or DVD. If it's a movie, it went on the shelf. It's nice having my collection all in one place. The Godzilla book, btw, is every Godzilla film from the Showa Era. Series, concerts, and comedy sets have their own rack.

I wish God would stop being a fucking prick and screwing me over constantly.

Fuck it. We're pretending it's early 2000s vBulletin days. Give me your year of birth and I'll assign you a book, album and movie released that year.

I know for a fact that if Trump and Jesus ran for president, the MAGA scum would still vote for Trump, despite claiming to be Christian.

I get a lot of private messages on here, so I'll just answer them all at once.

I am fine.

I am not interested in adding you to WhatsApp or Telegram.

I hope that clears everything up.

Here's a better picture of my manga and graphic novel shelf, including a separate picture of the top of the shelf.

Both visual bookshelf and text bookshelf are still beside each other.

I decided to rearrange my bookshelf. Now the very top is nonfiction, humor, and essays sorted by subject. Then below that is story collections with multiple authors, collabs between two authors (alphabetized by first listed author,) then novels and short story collections alphabetized by author.

You can't call yourself anti-woke and then proclaim yourself an art lover. Art is the expression of human experience and suppressing any of those voices is the antithesis of art. You don't have to agree with them or even like them, but you do have to recognize their validity.

Finally got around to playing Earthbound. Pretty sure Concerned Ape took some inspiration from this game. Most noticeably in Krobus resembling the Sharks from Onett.
Also, Earthbound and Stranger Things share a "Spielberg meets Lovecraft" vibe. Both even feature a little girl with psychic abilities.

If I had a nickel for every time a little girl grooved to music I was playing at my register, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but they'd be my two most cherished nickels.
