And I say this as someone who is Arteta in all the way. There is a lot of hyperbole about him, but the grass will not be greener. Just because bright talent exists elsewhere, it does not mean that will translate to Arsenal or understand Arsenal as an institution. Just my thoughts.

Makes you wonder if it’s the signings then tbf… Arteta is an elite coach that has yet to prove he can coach an elite attack (barring the Havertz purple patch you mentioned on one of the recent pods).

Counterpoint, at least he actually tried to attack. The rest of the attack that started was moving around like a bunch of limp noodles. No intensity, no direction, just horseshoe football, and hope for a corner. While, yes, Noni’s ball control could’ve been better; I enjoyed his directness.

Without question, and especially if we can add creativity to midfield. Or use Nwaneri in creative ways and maybe try Saka at right 8 on occasion. Next season needs to be about a healthy distribution of minutes across the squad.
