Vivek Ramaswamy to call on GOP to ditch 'owning the libs' mentality.

What he is promoting is a "kinder and gentler" malignant, self-righeous narcissism.

"We can still stand for truth, while viewing those who believe in falsehoods not as our enemies who must be vanquished, but instead as our fellow citizens who have lost their way and must be shown the light," he is expected to say, according to the news outlet.

Nietzsche (1886/1990) articulated the concept of repression with his customary succinctness:

"I have done that," says memory. "I cannot have done that," says pride, and remains adamant. At last - memory yields. #Psychiatry www.scielo.org.za/scielo.php?s...

The same thing is happening to healthcare. First, the enterprise builds something useful, even necessary. Then, it grows, due to the sheer utility. The final step is this: attention turns from utility to profiteering. Quality goes down while costs go up. www.newyorker.com/culture/infi...

"President Donald Trump campaigned on cutting energy prices in half, and now that they’re moving in the wrong direction, he has taken to blaming renewables, the cheapest sources of new generation, and promised $625 million to the ailing US coal industry." www.wired.com/story/power-...

Nature walk photography. These pictures were taken in and near La Llorona Park, between Las Cruces and Mesilla, New Mexico, USA.
Picture of two adjacent fields: one plowed, one with cotton plants. The horizon is flat. The sky is very blue, with white fluffy clouds. Flat, fallow field with a large tree to one side. This is in the Rio Grande floodplain. Two large trees flanking a view of fallow fields, with Picacho Peak on the distant horizon. This shows an aspen tree. There is a small tree in the foreground, in sharp focus, with a large tree that is out of focus.

"These findings suggest that EMDR therapy may serve as a useful starting point in the treatment of PDs..." That is an important point. By definition, PDs are chronic conditions that are resistant to change. The patients were in treatment for 5 wks, so we do not know if long-term change occurred.
