There are people who've scraped every story variable from my game, and then used the variable's names as proof of lore. And in a couple places, sure, they're right, but also isn't it more fun not knowing???

Like... do we need to crawl inside the author's head and see EVERY answer

Oh I really like this one

Very excited to dig into this later. Perfect Tides 1 hit some really familiar notes, I loved it

it really will feel like Pokemon Go Summer... I will share a thing of Capri Suns with friends in the park, like Pokemon Go Summer

The "pizza box prototype construction" type of game jam is the best kind of jam

When you're at the "markers and scissors" phase, you know you're in a truly PLAYFUL mindset

Any piece of art that's got Basically Just One Inspiration is derivative to the point of being essentially pointless. Kills me when I see it in games

"Oh it's got the art style AND sense of humor AND combat systems AND pacing of [Beloved Nintendo Game]!"... ok but what did you do that's new

I am playing this now, and I need you to know:
Once I realized what this picture implied had happened, I was genuinely emotionally struck. You could unironically use this as a key piece of evidence in a puzzle-tactics murder mystery game

Yeah but that's just it! I want companies to get weird with it! License an old game to five established indies and let 'em all run with it! Release it as a pack??

Hempuli's "A Solitaire Mystery" is a pack of kinda what I'm talking about, it's 30+ solitaire variants. they feel like "covers" to me

I'd love to see more designer's takes on the classics, is really my main point. Despite both being Metroid 2 remakes, fangame "Another Metroid 2 Remake" somehow scratches that itch where the official "Metroid: Samus Returns" didn't

True! But there's not exactly much of a "culture" around them, or certainly not enough legal permission? But maybe I'm just not tapped into that scene

Nah, that's the point that I replace the Abstract Hypothetical with the Concrete Reality! That's the healthiest part, even if I don't hear what I wanna hear
