It's difficult when your opponent's main philosophy is he's the victim of corrupt political power. Releasing this then could've easily backfired politically. We will nvr know. Trump is trying to play the deep state card again, but in this situation it rings hollow.

This should be a fine and move on. I guess if guy files criminal assault charges, then that could cause a need for harsher penalties. But fans' actions should have accountability too.

Very true. Grew up in the Appalachians, very liberal. Not ashamed at all and very battle tested. Tbh, in dealing with conservatives, it's about keeping calm and asking them questions about their thoughts, then providing facts and historical context. Then let that marinate for a while.
