But I'm feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of the posts. I understand you're in the middle of a book launch, but beware of exhausting your readers/listeners or becoming a parody.

more likely are general uncertainty, cost of living, worries about tariffs, worries about social security, then maybe fascism. with respect, sometimes your points shake things up and are to the point, other times it feels self-important and indulgent

Sorry, this particular story was just about how he ducks and weaves. I get the criticism of the NYT and WaPo etc and take the stories for they're worth.

In California, much of the revenue from traffic enforcement goes to the state, so cities don't have a lot of incentive to beef things up
