I'm at my parents' house for Thanksgiving and my mom was showing off this year's, which showed up the other day. In addition to their chocolate being amazing, they really go all out on construction. It lights up and plays music! The little neighbor girl uses last year's box for her treasures.

This is a story about people who love audio. I think it's only fair to the people I work with to be perfectly clear that it is not a story about my own career, nor is it a veiled exposé. I know a lot of audio people, but the ones in this book are truly and fully fictional, even if the difficulties of navigating the media landscape are soberingly real. StoryGraph for sure!!! The thing I really like about their tbr feature is that you can filter by what you're in the mood for. Basically any time I hear about something interesting I put it on my tbr list which is huge at this point, but you can easily soft through later.
