Bonus: here's some upcoming games that I'm looking forward to playing in the near future.

Finally here's my 3rd place pick for game of the year, "Peaks of Yore"! This is basically a difficult game about climbing, but in 3D and in first person. Love all of the different mechanics at hand (quite literally), and is a fantastic time if you have the patience.

In 2nd place for game of the year, I have to choose "UFO 50". There truly are 50 games, and although not all of them hit, a good chunk of them are true classics.

Another excellent story game that I played was "Beacon Pines". What's unique about this game is that you're able to manipulate the story by choosing different action words. Fantastic art, great characters, wonderful voice acting.

A very tiny British man has to solve all of the townsfolk's problems, and becomes increasingly annoyed until he has a panic attack. Thank goodness you're here!

Another silly cat game, and this time it's "Gato Roboto"! This is a very short metroidvania with a very simple artstyle and gameplay.

I love 2D platformers very much, and "BZZZT" is no exception! Although it's extremely short, this title was fun and straight to the point. If you want to try to get all achievements, good luck...

Originally an old flash game, now brought to full light, "There is No Game: Wrong Dimension" is an excellent puzzle game where you have to disobey the narrator every chance you get. This was executed extremely well.

"The Elision Effect" is a very short first person puzzle where you have to escape from a strange office space. Love the art style for this one.

I saw this game and thought it was cute, so I got it! "Golf Club Nostalgia", a little frustrating at times, but a fun time nonetheless. Dystopian worlds my beloved.

"Fallen Aces" is full of jam-packed chaos & shenanigans! An EXCELLENT first person beat-em-up, full of wonderful characters, locations, voice acting, and everything in between.

my game of the year OF COURSE 🐐

The hardest game I completed this year might have to go to "A Difficult Game About Climbing", a game very similar to Getting Over It. Unlike GOI, this game was extremely fun to play & beat (and rebeat!!).

This was a real interesting one, "Crossroad OS", a puzzle game taken place in an old 80's/90's computer. The art style in this game is incredible, and the story is very easy to follow. Puzzles were a little difficult but nothing too crazy.

Starting off with "Loddlenuat", a game taking place in the vast ocean! In this adventure you have to clean up the ocean floor, using the many diverse items at your disposal. Clean muck, vacuum up microplastics, and befriend funny creatures known as Loddles!
