We have the capability to use them in Canvas for grading essays and I really want to try it. Sure would save the lag between my brain and my typing fingers!

I found some in an old wallet and I felt like I’d won the lottery. But I have no idea if they are still accepted, so really living on the edge over here. Will my letter arrive? Will it only get as far as St. Louis?

Let’s at least make it realistic and show what really happens: me, a 50-year-old woman in my car, eating fast food out of a bag for the 3rd time this week because I’m driving a kid home from some activity they insisted on doing but now they hate it but we’re committed so here we are.

I found a carry on full of books I scored at the ALA convention in June and it was like Christmas morning. Like a little nerdy time capsule.

Every Thanksgiving weekend, my mom and I take my girls to our favorite small town for the weekend while my husband and son do their own weekend getaway together. It is a lovely way to have some calm before the holiday season gets crazy.

I’ve had a very not-techy Maytag set for years and it’s still going strong, even after washing Carhartt overalls and comforters. Not fancy, but she gets it done.
