Yes! It’s slowly setting up the storylines for the rest of the season. Plus new characters too. I totally agree…the weekly model definitely suits this show..it would be too much all at once.

Yeah, having not seen it, but knowing what it’s based off, I think that criticism is such a weird thing to focus on. Also, Zhao is such an astute filmmaker. I have a feeling, the film will get me, because emotions and feelings, typically do. 😭

I’ve seen a good amount about the emotional trauma bordering like grief porn but there’s two camps about it. Also, something about a musical choice at the end. I’m so curious lol.

I need to watch this one. I’ve seen so many different takes on that third act.

Yeah. I’m not huge on Star Wars, but this is definitely the best thing they ever put out.
