That's odd; while I was watching the Chough at Eype in August the first people to come along were 2 German tourists. Alpenkrähe apparently.
A few shots of the Grey Phalarope from Rodden Hive this morning. It was feeding in the foam and weed on the shoreline. A German walker asked what I was looking at, so I was able to do a translation and told her it was a Thorshühnchen! What a great name! Also Firecrest and Marsh Harrier there.

About 5000 Manx went east at the Bill this morning in about 50 minutes - all over by 8am. Also a Sooty, 2 Arctic skua a few Commic terns and 100+ Balearics in the area.
