Data is well and good - or bad, as the case may be - but stories move the needle. Tell the stories of the construction workers put out of work by Trump's infrastructure cuts, or the soybean farmers losing sales to Trump's tariffs.

Trump has single-handedly destroyed the U.S. Soybean market.

Right now, it’s about a $2 loss per bushel of soybean…

We need to demand: 1) Trade Not Aid. Farmers don’t want bailouts, they want markets. 2) We need more competition both on the market side and with inputs! 🇺🇸

For the last 3 years, @joshturek4iowa.bsky.social and I were the only Democrat state legislators from the Western half of Iowa. Last night, we finally got to add Catelin Drey into our coalition!

We all represent districts that Trump won and have a lot of opinions on how to improve the party. 🇺🇸

U.S. soybean farmers should be livid over the Argentina bailout!!!

U.S. offers "$200 billion in economic support to Argentina while that country drops its soybean export taxes to sell 20 shiploads of Argentine soybeans to China in just two days."

✅ 25% of 🇺🇸 soybeans have previously gone to 🇨🇳
✅ 🇨🇳 just bought record amount of soybeans, 0 from 🇺🇸
✅ Our prices are about 20% hirer due to retaliatory tariffs

500,000 soybean farmers in the 🇺🇸 need markets & a level playing field! 🇺🇸

American farmers are being hurt by our trade war. We sell half our soybeans to China. China has stopped buying any soybeans from us. Farmers in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, & North Dakota are paying the steeped price. Farm closures have doubled under Trump.

China bought a record amount of soybeans… NONE from the U.S. 😔

In Iowa, soybean farmers have spent decades building a relationship with China. Because of Trump’s trade war(s), we’ve lost the market and they’re now coming from Brazil.
