Excellent performance! Could’ve been 2-0 or 3-0. So glad we got what we deserved after digging in 2nd half. Pepple faded but deserves credit where it’s due. Everyone looking confident and decisive. Ideally a CB, CM and CF before window closes to keep pushing (hopefully no big injuries).

We’ve won this division more than any other club yet in the top 100 reported transfer fees received by L1 clubs we account for only 1 (Maxi). For some context Pboro have 11x, Wigan 7x, Oxford 5x.

"if that's true"... we appear soft. Randell and Hardie had v.low clauses. Saying "players won't sign otherwise" felt feeble at the time. It's common to set relatively high clauses then negotiate lower transfer fees. Pboro would be getting £4M+ for Tolaj this summer (e.g. Ephron Mason-Clark to Cov).

Plenty around the £3m mark which Id hope we get at least. Stansfield was like £15m? If you go back years there’s some punchy prices paid at this level for young strikers.

Happy for him but he’s really not a L1 striker. I missed most of the game so he might’ve been class but first 20mins you can just tell he needs national / L2 loan. Pray we get another striker in.

Would help if BG retired from Int 🤣 Yep, hilarious that Mitchell (proven L1) was a bit of a ‘panic’ loan. Now our most important def! Still can’t get over the “lOaNs ArE bAd” statement. Wiredu was poss a CB but he got relegated playing there. We obv needed more top end L1 players like Mitchell.

Yeh he wasn’t great and another I wish we didn’t rely on. He’s also not a LB. Hopefully Mackenzie can come in soon and make an impact. I love Edwards but he’s looking slower and more susceptible. His attitude is one if not the best. I’d suggest a rest and use him to close out games.

Think I'd convinced myself he'd be here if we finished well - he must've know we weren't getting promoted when he joined!? If someone offers £2M+ he's prob gone (sigh)... ugh, right now I need two positives. One to cancel out the negative and another one so I can have a positive!

If he recaptures or surpasses the level he showed when we won promotion then it's another indictment on the clubs recent mismanagement of the football side. Wish him all the best - Club going through a big reset and rebuild now sadly. Need to show some ambition if we hope to keep Tolaj next season.

Watts is agile and puts himself about. Amaechi moves heavily but does have quality. I like him but strikes me as needing fit and fast players around to make time and space for him to be really dangerous.

Amaechi is dreadfully slow even with the ball. Technically tidy but needs so much time and space to look remotely dangerous.

When focussed he looked really good but was so often lackadaisical. With the right coaching and stability could’ve flourished. Money all going to cover losses we presume? So frustrating to undo several good years of recruitment and development with a couple of ridiculous manager choices.
