Ryan's conflict was mostly internal, which I have enough of in my own life, so it wasn't fictional enough for me in that regard. I think it would've been a great short story or a one shot, it definitely didn't need to be dragged out for so long. Also, let Fabian top!

Book 3, was meh to me. Fabian didn't make enough sense to me as a character. I get that he has family trauma but he is way too disconnected from hockey culture for having been raised in a hockey family. He also didn't really have a journey and we only got a bit of lore in retrospect.

Book 1 was cute and wish Kip and Scott got a few more episodes in the series. Kip and Scott kind of hit monotony after a few chapters, but overall it was sweet and they had their own journies.

Wym Hollanov is only the focal point of Books 2 and 6?! I need more!
