My parents in the 80s instilled in me a fear of fire because of the space heater in my room. I would wake up multiple times a night to walk around it and make sure there were no toys nearby. I had nightmares that mirrored this photo.

I wasn’t running into any problems. I was just in Iowa and was wondering if there was a way to sort or filter just by stations in a particular state… and I didn’t see an option to do that, though I may have missed it.

Shush. By then we won’t care… we will just be so relieved for each extra sliver of light we get.

Only 50 days of despair. Starting December 22 we start to get more daylight. But yeah, until then.. it’s the pit of despair.

No. Taste of Chicago in Grant Park is going on this weekend. And the Mexican Independence Day parade and events still took place in the Pilsen neighborhood.

Pilsen celebrates Mexican Independence Day parade despite ICE threats: 'We're here and we're not leaving'
The parade kicked off at noon on Saturday in light of escalating immigration arrests in Chicago.

My investigation leads me to believe that the video showing the line-up of snow plows is for crowd control at the "Taste of Chicago" event downtown this weekend. Chicago does this regularly for outdoor events & festivals—to contain crowds & prevent cars from plowing into people.

Have you seen first hand accounts of the snow plows? Dont get me wrong, I want ICE blocked too. But in researching more, I only see social media posts. No news service has picked this up, it’s not on the front of @chicagotribune.com something seems off. Traffic would be insane
