Legends Z-A surprised me more than any game recently. I've put in about 5 hours and I expected boring city and got jumpscared by a cute fun ass time, truly we are making forward steps towards a "perfect" pokemon game

I feel like the only game it's super fair to compare to is legends Arceus and honestly it kinda feels like we're taking a step back. Arceus had this really nice somewhat cel shaded look but they just threw that out the window for the standard boring pokemon "realism"

Im def not the first person to point it out but game freaks current issue with pokemon seems to be a complete lack of any style. Look at these buildings, I'm not asking for UE5 matrix tech demo windows but can we make it a little less fucking obvious that it's a tiled texture
