Snow day w/ 6 yo grandson. We survived online learning. Less wiggle, wiggle, yawn shift than the first snow day. (And that was me) We even scheduled play time.

4 yrs ago was tragic for many reasons. It also divided family & friendships; probably forever. Respect to quality people who understand there is no neutral zone regarding this historical event. Never will be. May trump, putin, ego musk, vance, orban & maga be diminished.

As a child, I spent 2 weeks in July every summer in NC. Loved the Tryon g-parents. The Appalachian experience was different. Didn't understand everyone spittin' in a can, rocking on the porch, insulting Methodists & city folk. Damn Yankees. Later, uncle thought I might go to hell. Soci major.
