What’s the END GAME for Trump et al? News only delivers info on MAGA/Doge sackings, closures, evictions, border clamp downs, extraditions, tariffs on/off, peace deals on/off! What’s the actual plan to rebuild US industry? HOW and WHERE is the PLAN to educate and train the new American workforce?

They love this “run the government like a business” canard coz it conjures images of efficiency and accountability.

The reality is, it’s about increasing profits for the few over the wellbeing of the many.

If the government operated the way a business does, the citizenry should rightfully revolt.

‘Make Brexit work’ is an inherently dishonest statement. To make Brexit work necessarily stops something else from working or protecting us. You simply cannot deregulate your way to success. And there is no public appetite for a race to the bottom.

He’s absolutely right, of course…

…and that is why the EU, UK and Europe as a whole need to keep their focus on citizens, consumer rights, standards and quality.

This is what the EU has been doing best - standing up to big tech. Repeatedly.

We should be rejoining the EU and joining that effort.

England’s rundown hospitals are ‘outright dangerous’, say NHS chiefs
This should have been highlighted more forcefully by the media well before now! Of course, as UK political history shows, the Labour Government once again has to try to correct damage done by years of Conservative neglect!
