Google, Meta et al need to understand that it’s not just Americans that are now actively trying to boycott their products as a result of their actions. There are many, many of us worldwide boycotting in solidarity.

Carr said “the president” rather than “the president of Paramount,” so it’s not clear what he meant. Skydance wrote to the FCC saying the ombudsman would answer to Paramount, but it’s entirely possible that Carr understands differently. Gizmodo asked CBS & the FCC for comment but haven’t heard back.

I already cancelled my paramount+ subscription over the Trump settlement. If I could cancel twice I would!
