But Rudy just had a way of knowing exactly what people needed even if they didn't and not just any pretty face would have been the right choice.I needed Rudy. She simply took me along for the ride. I was not her person. She was my roommate, lol. Thank you Rudester, my fat, sassy girl.

to send Rudy to that witchy, between worlds place, that Rudy just took as her due in this world. 2 IM injections of sedation and she would not rest or close her eyes, stubborn till her last breath.

Hardly detectable red blood cells, an astronomical white cell count and over-the-top with either non-existent liver enzymes or those at toxic levels. Dr Evans said it was solely due to her rude good health she was alert or even conscious. Her circulation so poor they couldn't even raise a vein

So we packed up and hitched a ride to a brand new vet. Most sincere gratitude to Dr. Evans and tech Olivia at Belpar Veterinary Hospital off Fulton in North Canton. Blood work was the first order of business and with deep sadness, it told us everything Rudy couldn't.

About Rudy...
She'd been a little poorly these last 5 days. Listless and without appetite, she didn't even argue when I touched her closely guarded belly. Although she did convey her displeasure w an irritated tail twitch last night, she was not so punky this morning.

Loud, smart, bossy, like the Clash song she was named for, Rudy just didn't know how to fail. She always got what she needed, if not wanted. She had a way of making you feel as if she had done you the favor to just be in her presence. Strong, fearless, and ruthlessly smart.
