Exactly! I have aspects of it in my current WIP and I started then it hit me that I don’t know how to write pirates outside of the norms😂

I find that I love to write fantasy more than I like to read it.

I love to read history and biographies, which I actually think makes me a better writer tbh. If I’m getting out of those genres it’s usually Sci-Fi.

I think I’m a hybrid. I usually have all the characters fleshed out and build two or three in as I go. The main timeline is made but as I fall in love with new characters I branch off into subplots which are admittedly my favorites. This also could be a valid critique of my writing but idc lol.

So you’re telling me that pouring hot sauce in my eyes and sitting on thumbtacks late into the night to get to my 5000 word goal is not going to produce a good product? Damn I’m gonna need to rethink some things.
