I am gutted. One of the greatest 2nd basemen to ever play the game. One of the greatest Cubs to ever exist. Ryne Sandberg was so good, such a fan, and always kind to his fans. Thank you for so many, MANY memories, including seeing you play at Wrigley in 96.

They can't take my day of family away from me. A day of watching my now adult child set off fireworks (it's his favorite holiday). A day of cheating my diet and having my sister's famous chocolate no bake cookies. They can't take away my love of what was a beautiful evening. Love always wins.

Had emergency surgery last night and am now less a gallbladder. So far, this surgery is still far easier than a tonsillectomy in my 20s. THAT was brutal.

Celebrating today. Down 113 lbs in 10 months. Almost at my goal weight to get in with the neurosurgeon who can fix my SI joints. But definitely celebrating. It feels so good to be so much less. 🫶
