We said goodbye to my stepdaughter, Amelie, today. In her nineteen years, she traveled the country, beat up many dogs and cat sitters (she was 6 lb), wrote Jed’s book, ate so much string cheese, and served as a reluctant mentor to five younger cat and dog siblings. We’ll miss her very much.
