When you need access to the fuel pump on a #Jeep #TJ but the tank is almost full and you don't feel like messing around with dropping it out the bottom.
I need to grab some metal to make a proper cover, but this will do for now.

Been a minute but I'm back out working on the #Willys #Jeep #m38. Undoing some of the previous owners "handiwork". The fuel pump delete was an actual block of plywood. I updated it with proper steel and a gasket.

After a very long 6 months, I've been cleared to drive again.

Time to dig out the #Jeep #TJ (and not have a heart attack doing it)

I have a flat tire and probably a dead battery to deal with, and there's that solid 3' snow drift leaning against it.

My ICD is healing up nice, so in the meantime let's play guess where these go on the #Willys #Jeep #m38.

Once it warms up a bit. I should be back in the garage. January felt about 63 days too long.

I guess I could say that spring is just around the corner ... I'm here all week, try the veal.

My last post was about finishing up the charging system on my #Jeep. Now I'm posting that the charging system in my body received a battery change last week. #ICD #HeartFailure

Finished the alternator wiring and mount on the #Willys #Jeep #m38 this past weekend.
I have an ignition and a charging system now.
Fuel line runs are buttoned up.
I need to make some brake line mounts for the rear disk conversion and then bleed them.
Progress is progress.

Due to all the work on the full size version, the #Willys #m38 gets to tow the camper on the Christmas Tree this year.

The other #Jeep models get to meander through the tree as if it was a nice forest trail.

Guess I need to start somewhere. I am me and this is the #Willys #Jeep #m38 I'm restoring.

It's a marathon project not a race. For the past three years the little spare time I have is spent out in my garage working on it.
