This should enrage the MAGA base. Once upon a time, they claimed to care about protecting children. Trump lies so relentlessly, so predictably, that even this barely gets a squeak. He’s not good at deflecting. He’s just constant. And when deflection becomes routine, people stop resisting.

Unpopular opinion: what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. If a Republican said something like this we would never tolerate it. What Jay did was unacceptable, he should absolutely bow out of the race and all Democrats should drop him like a hot potato.

I have a mourning dove nest I’ve been keeping an eye on since last year. I put the nest up because they struggled. Last year they had a few broods, 2 eggs each. After ~2 weeks they leave the nest. After a few days, come back, and repeat. This is the 2nd brood this season. Look how tiny they are!

Here’s my time lapse video of last nights lunar. Note that I had it take a shot every five seconds. Then I sped it up 2x. The contrast got wonky a couple of times so it got overexposed and it was very windy so you can see it vibrating. This was taken with my Seestar S50 smart telescope.

Trump is lying. He and his boss (Musk) wanted Germany’s far-right AfD to win, but they lost. The actual winners are moderate conservatives. He’s tricking his disciples—who don’t follow European politics—into thinking the far right won to push his agenda. They just believe whatever he says.
