While I think we all could have hypothesized this, I’m glad researchers are formally studying the impact of private equity taking over hospitals. I hope someone also studies impact on healthcare workers in these settings!

When I started working in substance use, I was told that I was wasting my career by going into the field. And now it's such a robust field, with new divisions of substance use medicine and nursing for example, even whole divisions of schools dedicated to this. -Sidney Schnoll, MD, PhD #AMERSA2024
